Business Lunches


Business lunches are organised on regular basis through the whole year.


The speaker of the day informs the audience about his relations and experiences with the Polish Market. Visitors from Poland (Ministers, persons in charge of Voivodships or important companies) are also invited to take part in these lunches.


During this meeting, you will also have the opportunity to exchange views and experiences on the Polish market with other Bepolux members conducting business in Poland, and to meet with representatives from the Polish Embassy and from the Chamber of Commerce.

Overview of the past business lunches

Wednesday 22/06/2011 This lunch was hosted by the Embassy of Poland (Trade & Investment Promotion Section). Mr. Marek Korowajczyk, Director of the Department of European Affairs in the Polish Ministry of Economy, was our guest-speaker and presented: Economic Priorities of the Polish EU Presidency Presentations: >> Poland's economy and priorities >> Programme priorities of the Ministry of Economy Number of participants: 70

Thursday 26/05/2011 This lunch was hosted by East Poland House, located in Brussels. Presentations were given by representatives of the Regional Development Agencies of the 5 regions, forming part of East Poland House: 5 regions - 1 place East Poland - New opportunities for investors Number of participants: 60

Thursday 24/02/2011 Bepolux had the honor to welcome Mr. Steven VANACKERE , Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Institutional Reform. He gave a comment on: "Achievements of the Belgian Presidency of the EU": On the one hand the realisations of the Belgian EU-Presidency from a bilateral point of view, and on the other hand the Belgian-Polish economic relations. Number of participants: 60 This lunch took place at Château Sainte-Anne in Brussels

Thursday 27/01/2011 The New Year's Business Lunch for Bepolux' Members was hosted by H.E. Mr. Slawomir Czarlewski, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland. Count Jacobs de Hagen, Chairman of Bepolux, moderated the lunch Mr. Bartlomiej Lewandowski, First Secretary of the Trade & Investment Promotion Section of the Polish Embassy in Brussels gave an update of the Polish Economy. >> See presentation Number of participants: 80 This event was attended by representatives of the Polish and the Belgian authorities.
