With the traditional New year event hosted by H.E. Mr. Artur Harazim, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland,  BEPOLUX has launched the annual program of the Chamber.  The meeting was attended by

Mrs Henryka Mościcka-Dendys Wiceminister Spraw Zagranicznych, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Polish Government.


April 2015

BEPOLUX cooperated with the Polish Embassy, section trade and investment promotion,  to organize a presentation of the Investment opportunities in the Special Economic zones in Poland:  Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone and Lodz Special Economic Zone. With the substantial tax incentives the special economic zones remain among the most attractive locations for new investments in Poland.


May 2015.

The Polish IT company COMARCH SA has recently established a representation in Belgium and has joined BEPOLUX as gold member.

The company was presented to the BEPOLUX members during a business lunch in Brussels.  Key note speaker was Ph. Ghysels, Chief strategy officer of BNP Paribas Fortis, who presented an update of the Polish macro-economic situation.  The polish economy has shown a continued growth path over the last 10 years and will probably also remain on this path for the coming years.


June 2015 Seminar : The application of EU structural funds in Poland

This seminar was organized in cooperation with DELKRO CONSULTING, Krakow. The EU grants budget 2014-2020 for Poland amounts to 106 bln Euro, of which 28 bln euro for agricultural policy. The rest is for the cohesion policy budget and focuses on 6 national programs such as: infrastructure and environment, intelligent growth, knowledge and education, digital Poland, Eastern Poland and technical support.  The seminar covered the details of the funds program, procedures and administration, and was supported by representative business cases.


October 2015

H.E. Mr artur Harazim, Ambassador of Poland, hosted a Breakfast meeting for BEPOLUX members with Mrs. Elzbieta BIENKOWSKA, EU commissioner for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SME’s.  The commissioner explained the headlines of the commissions policy for internal market development and stressed the importance of a truly supporting SME policy.

The Bepolux award is organized bi-annually by the Belgian Polish Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, with the support of BNP PARIBAS FORTIS, as an appreciation for a Belgian company with outstanding business achievement in Poland.

The award, an artwork of Polish renowned  artist, Halina Jakubowska, has been handed over to Mr. Paul Gheysen, president of Ghelamco,  by H.E. Mr. Artur Harazim, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland, during a ceremony on Friday December 4th , 2015, in GHELAMCO ARENA in Gent. The event was organized in cooperation with South Poland House.
